5km walk achieved!

With exercise, one of the cheapest forms (as it is free!) is walking. So today I put on my cheap trainers and set off on a walk around my local neighbourhood.

My aim was to complete a 5km walk (about 3.1 miles). I do not usually walk for that long, but I have been increasing it day by day, week by week and finally, I did it!

It took me about an hour and I actually enjoyed it (I got to be a bit nosey around the neighbourhood too!). Especially as the weather wasn’t too bad either!

Walking is a great (and free!) exercise to do. It works most of the muscles in the body so an all over body workout too :)!

My next plan is to increase the walking distance and also to start a running journey (also a nice free activity!). Wish me luck for the running, I will definitely need it (my body doesn’t like running!)!
